PHYLICIA BARNES DEAD BODY FOUND IN SUSQUEHANNA RIVER

Two dead bodies were found the other day at Susquehanna River, Maryland, one of a man and the other is a woman. The woman has been confirmed through dental records that it was indeed the body of  PHYLICIA BARNES, 16, an honor student of Union Academy, Monroe, North Carolina who went missing since December 28 when she visited her family in Northwest Baltimore to spend Christmas vacation.

Phylicia's father likewise confirms that the dead body of a woman pulled at Conowingo Dam of Susquehanna River was the body of their daughter, Phylicia Barnes.

To date, the family of Phylicia and police investigators are still conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the death of Phylicia Barnes and if the other found dead body of a man is related to the death of Phylicia.

FILMMAKER TIM HETHERINGTON SUDDEN DEATH IN LIBYA

It is so sad to say  when a war and brilliant filmmaker-photojournalist who have just been nominated in the OSCAR this year has been killed this morning in Misurata, Libya.

Tim Hetherington, 41, British-born filmmaker and photojournalist has been killed today in Misurata while covering the ongoing conflict in Libya when an RPG hit him along with his colleagues. The acclaimed photographer and filmmaker was also a co-director and OSCAR nominated  this year with  co-director Sebastian Junger of their award winning movie, Restrepo, a film that showed 15-month deployment of the 2nd Platoon Army Battalion  to Afghanistan.

Among of the injured were  Chris Hondros, a Getty photographer and Pulitzer Prize- nominated, who was critically wounded and pronounced dead thereafter, Guy Martin, photographer of Panos Agency also suffered serious injury and in critical condition,  Freelancer Michael Christopher Brown including hundreds of civilians and rebel fighters.

Thirty-six hours before Tim's death, he tweeted, "In besieged Libyan City of Misrata. Indiscriminate shelling by Qaddafi forces. No sign of NATO."

BANG! BIG 3 POKER SITES-POKERSTARS, FULLTILTPOKER AND ABSOLUTEPOKER WERE SEIZED AND SHUT DOWN

The three largest Internet  Poker companies owned by PokerStars.com, Fulltiltpoker.com and Absolutepoker.com have been seized and shutdown by FBI and charged for bank fraud, money laundering and illegal gambling. Its founders including payment processors are indicted by the U.S. Department of Justice for violation of Illegal Gambling Business Act of 1955 and the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006.  

Indicted are Isai Scheinberg, Reymond Bitar, Scott Tom, Brent Beckley, Nelson Burtnick, Paul Tate, Ryan Lang, Bradley Franzen, Ira Rubin, Chad Elie and John Campus founders of the big three internet poker sites and payment processors who, each of them  will be facing four counts each of these offense.

Scheinberg and Tate are founders of PokerStars; Bitar and Burnick of Full Tilt Poker and Tom and Beckley of Absolute Poker. Lang, Rubin, Franzen and Elie are the persons who ran payment processors.

All of these defendants were found operating Illegal gambling business and for conspiring to commit bank and wire fraud including conspiracy of money laundering.

Arrested are Defendants Campos and Elie Friday morning in Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada while Franzen is expected to appear in court during his arraignment on April 19, 2011.

Other defendants Scheinberg, Bitar, Burtnick, Tate, Tom, Beckley, Rubin and Lang who are not in the U.S.  are still  at large.

U.S. Attorney's Office of Southern District, New York and the FBI are now working for their arrest in cooperation with foreign law enforcement agencies and the INTERPOL.

TIGER WOODS 13-MINUTE PUBLIC APOLOGY SCRIPT AND VIDEO FROM SEXUAL ESCAPADES

After Tiger Woods sex scandal that led him into seclusion for three months finally appeared early morning of Friday, February 19, 2010 to deliver a 13-minute speech asking  public apology from his disgraced behavior in indulging sex without mentioning when to return to his sports career. 

Below is the full script and video  of his 13-minute speech delivered before a selected audience of media, colleagues, friends, family and of course his mother in absence of his wife, Elin Nordegren. The press conference was broadcast live from the clubhouse at TPC Sawgrass, PGA Headquarters, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

"Simply and directly, I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior I engaged in. I was unfaithful, I had affairs. I cheated. What I did is not acceptable and I am the only person to blame... I've had a lot of time to think about what I've done. My failures have made me look at myself in a way I never wanted to before. It's now up to me to make amends, and that starts by never repeating the mistakes I've made. It's up to me to start live a life of integrity."

"I once heard, and I believe it's true, it's not what you achieve in life that matters; it's what you overcome. Achievements on the golf course are only part of setting an example. Character and decency are what really count. Parents used to point at me as a role model for their kids. I owe all those families a special apology. I want to say to them that I am truly sorry."

Well... I'm just hoping that Woods is sincere to his statements otherwise his disgraceful and scandalous sexual behavior would always ruin his character and integrity  and would no longer win a public trust. 

BEWARE! VIRUS KNEBER BOTNET ATTACKED

 

BEWARE! Another new computer virus known as "Kneber botnet" attacked and  hit almost 75,000 computers in 2,500 organizations around the world which compromises user accounts of popular social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo, Hotmail especially commercial and government systems including 68,000 corporate login credentials, access email systems and online banking sites.

NetWitness, an Internet Security firm announced the newly found  virus as a  threat  which was first discovered in January during a routine deployment of NetWitness software.

The later virus known as "Kneber botnet" gathers login credentials to online financial systems, social networking sites and email systems from infested computers and reports the information back to hackers, New Witness stated.  NetWitness further  stated a botnet is an army of infected computers that hackers can control from a central machine.

"Conventional malware protection and signature-based intrusion detection systems are, by definition, inadequate for addressing Kneber or most other advanced threats," Chief Executive Amit Yoran said in a statement.

6.0 EARTHQUAKE PETROLIA CA

 

Another earthquake struck off the coast of Northern California particularly Petrolia community, nearly 50 miles west of Eureka  with a 6.0 magnitude at about 12:20 p.m. local time today, February 4,2010, U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The shaking was felt within a 150-mile radius, as far north as southern Oregon and as far south as Sonoma County. Humboldt County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman in Eureka Lisa Girsback said, there were no reports so far for major injury or damage and a tsunami warning hasn't been an issue.

TIGER WOODS RETURN IN TWO WEEKS FOR ACCENTURE MATCH

After the sex scandal of Tiger Woods in late November that made his public image began to tumble and resulted to an indefinite leave of absence from playing golf, the golf star is now preparing to end his indefinite leave by competing in the Accenture Match Play Championship to be held outside Tucson, Arizona, come February 17-21.

His return is an interesting debate to the public after his scandalous life. He is not only preparing for the Accenture Match Play Championship but also the World Golf Championship on March in Miami and the Masters.

Accenture was the first Woods' sponsors to cut its ties, releasing a statement after Woods sex scandal that broke the whole world, said, "he is no longer the right representative." The parties has ended their six-year relationship.

Geoff Ogilvy, former U.S. Open Champion suggested that Woods should make a public appearance to shed his explanation before arriving at the tournament site.

Ogilvy said, "One, out of respect for all the other golfers, and two, to diffuse the circus part of it before he actually gets to a golf tournament. I don't believe a lot of tournaments want all the tabloid media floating around."

"It would be nice if he came out away from a golf tournament. When he does come back to golf it would still be a bit crazy but that tabloid edge might be gone."

Phil Mickelson, ranked No. 2 behind Tiger, announced last week he is skipping the tournament to spend time with family.

PGA rules stated, a golfer must commit to tournament by 5 p.m. of Friday before the event is played. Meaning, Tiger Woods should not make an announcement until February 12 otherwise it would generate media circus if announcement is made earlier.

FARM KING MACOMB SHOOTING HELD HOSTAGES

An unidentified gunman opened fire his semiautomatic riffle after a heated argument inside Farm King store of  1620 E. Jackson St., Macomb, Illinois, around 12:45 in the afternoon, Wednesday,  taking hostage two men, two women and a boy about 7 or 8 years old. 

When Macomb Police responded and arrived to the scene, the gunman burst at least 20 rounds ammunition of his gun who retreated to the store. The gunman was never seen before. 

Panic employees of the store and its customers  were able to leave the crime scene. An eyewitness to the incident, Richard Moulton, was inside the store  together with his father to buy a battery charger heard someone arguing on the other isle yelling, then  a burst of gun shots followed. 

Hostages  were later on released to the authorities.  Injuries has not yet been reported.

RESTAURANTEUR GINA CAMPISI FOUND DEAD

Gina Campisi, 26 and owner of Fedora Restaurant which is also affiliated with Egyptian Lounge Campisis was found dead today inside her Dallas Home. Reports stated that Campisi's death appears to be a suicide.

Campisi's name became known and  popular around Dallas County because of her family's legendary pizza restaurant, Campisi's Egyptian Lounge with a mob-themed Fedora.

Just few months after opening, the restaurant engaged into some trouble which resulted to shortly close the business until its reopening.

The case of Campisi is another suicide crisis as a consequence of depression.
