DUBAI - Saudi Arabia announced thru state television, Ekhbariyah that the end of Ramadhan will be on Monday, August 29, 2011. Religious authorities said that the moon was seen Monday, hence, fasting will ends the same day while Tuesday, is the feast day or the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
The Eid al-Fitr is observe by all Muslim countries through sighting of the new moon in accordance with the Islamic Calendar.
Same with Egypt, United Arab Emirates and Qatar, announces that the Eid al-Fitr will be on Tuesday. Muslims all over the world celebrate this day as a thanksgiving of its spiritual renewal.
