Football Running Back Kendall Berry, 22, from Haines City, Florida and a student of Florida International University has been stabbed to death by an unknown assailant, Thursday, 9 p.m. after engaging a heated argument with one or more person just within the university premises. Several students were present during the incident however, failed to rescue the football player against his perpetrators.
The untimely death of Kendall Berry is a great lose to his football team which is supposed to play on the annual football spring game come Wednesday.
Miami Police and local authorities has been conducting a hot pursuit of the responsible assailant whose motive of the killing was still unknown that made the victim's family and students shocked with the incident.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kendall's family," FIU President Mark B. Rosenberg said in a news release. "We are here to support them and our entire university community as all of us come to terms with this tragedy."
