Today, December 7, 2009, has been officially proclaimed by the U.S. Government as "Pearl Harbor Day" in commemoration of the Pearl Harbor attacked in December 7, 1941.
The American people is ordered to remember this day and to lower or flown U.S. flags to a half-staff in honor of the American heroes who fought, sacrificed and lost their lives during the World War II.
Sixty-eight years have passed, thousands of people including innocent civilians, young and old were killed and tortured when Japanese military troops attacked the Pearl Harbor and invaded the U.S.. Hundreds were wounded and injured, women were raped, children and babies were bayoneted, these horrible crimes and tragedy should not be left forgotten.
Survivors and the thousands of people who have been killed during the World War II should be honored and remembered by their heroic deeds.
